We believe activity in Italy will remain very subdued in the second half of this year. As a result, we expect GDP growth of 0.6% in 2023 and 0.6% in 2024. A possible recovery next year will depend on an improvement in real disposable income and external conditions, while monetary policy will still act as a major headwind.
