IDC's research reveals that interest in adoption of all manner of business process and IT operations automation has increased significantly since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, suggesting that enterprises are beginning to look at automation as a crucial means to ensure resilience and business continuity in the face of unprecedented disruption. This study delves into the essential components of intelligent automation (IA), key third-party services available to enterprises as they attempt to adopt IA within their operations, and IDC's recommendations on some key aspects to pay attention to as enterprises embark on their IA journey.
