We expect GDP growth in the Bahamas to moderate to 4.8% in 2023. Consumption and investment will likely return to pre-pandemic levels, following solid GDP growth of 11% in 2022 that was driven by recovery in tourism and foreign direct investment. Moreover, we think overnight tourist arrivals will increase by 13% in 2023 and return to 2019 levels by the end of 2025.
