We've downgraded our 2023 GDP growth forecast for Dominica to 3.4% from 3.9% previously, as we think global headwinds will weigh on tourism and foreign investment. We estimate that the economy grew by 5.8% in 2022, driven by a further pickup in tourism services exports after stronger-than-expected GDP growth the year before. The latest available data show total visitor spending rose sequentially last year, reaching 81% of the pre-pandemic 2019 level in Q4 2022.
